Carpooling

A carpool is when two or more people share the ride to a similar or nearby destination. Establishing a scheme helps to reduce single occupancy vehicles and assists with reaching the government targets set out in the New Zealand Transport Strategy. 

The NZ Transport Agency has developed a number of resources to assist you with promotion of your carpool scheme. Artwork for the following resources can be downloaded below.

All resources except the guidelines allow you to enter your own logo and carpool co-ordinator details. The radio advertisements have a few seconds at the end to enable you to record your own council's name, website or phone number.
