Current fees for appointments, site approvals, reviews and certification records (e.g. WoF labels) for entry and in-service vehicle certification are:

All certification fees have been set on a cost recovery basis, as Land Transport New Zealand is a non-profit making authority.
All fees are payable in advance except planned reviews and the hourly rate for a follow-up review which is billed after the follow-up has occurred.
All fees are GST inclusive.
A follow-up review occurs when a Reviewer needs to visit your site to confirm corrective action has been taken to address a non-conformance noted at a planned review. The fee for conducting a follow-up review is the same across all certification types. It is an hourly rate of $142.50.
All vehicle inspector tests include a fit and proper person check. The fit and proper person check fee of $28.20 is included in vehicle inspector test fees across all certification types.
